The assets of any group self-insurance pool established pursuant to this chapter shall be invested in those securities and investments permitted by regulation adopted by the State Corporation Commission for group self-insurance pools.\n\t\tA group self-insurance pool shall be deemed a self-insurer for motor vehicle security under \u00a7 46.2-368. Members of the pool participating in the motor vehicle self-insurance provided by the pool shall be deemed to meet the requirements of security as required and an application for a certificate of self-insurance under \u00a7 46.2-368 shall not be required.
