The Commonwealth strategic plan for information technology shall be updated annually and submitted to the Secretary for approval.B\n\nThe CIO shall have the following duties related to budgeting for information technology projects:1\n\nDevelop policies, standards, and guidelines, in consultation with the Department of Planning and Budget, that are integrated into the Commonwealth’s strategic planning and budgeting processes, and that executive branch agencies shall follow in developing information technology plans and technology-related budget requests.
