Failure of a department, agency, institution or political subdivision to provide the form prior to the award of <span class=\"dictionary\">contract<\/span> shall <span class=\"dictionary\">waive<\/span> the requirements of clause (ii) of subsection A. <a id=\"paragraph-309130\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/2.2-4332\/#B\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"C\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">C.<\/span> No subcontractor shall perform any work on a <span class=\"dictionary\">construction<\/span> project of a department, agency or institution of the Commonwealth unless he has obtained, and continues to maintain for the duration of such work, workers&#8217; compensation coverage required pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 8 (&#xA7; <a class=\"law\" title=\"Duty to insure payment of compensation; effect of insurance\" href=\"\/65.2-800\/\">65.2-800<\/a> et seq.) of Title 65.2. <a id=\"paragraph-309131\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/2.2-4332\/#C\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>","plain_text":"                                 CODE OF VIRGINIA\n\nWORKERS&#8217; COMPENSATION REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS AND\nSUBCONTRACTORS (\u00a7 2.2-4332)\n\nA.
