<a id=\"paragraph-220220\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/24.2-949.2\/#B2\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"B3\" class=\"indent-1\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">3.<\/span> The name, <span class=\"dictionary\">residence<\/span> address, and position of the custodian of the books who works under the direction of the treasurer; and <a id=\"paragraph-220221\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/24.2-949.2\/#B3\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"B4\" class=\"indent-1\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">4.<\/span> A listing of all banks, safe-deposit boxes, or other repositories used. <a id=\"paragraph-220222\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/24.2-949.2\/#B4\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"C\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">C.<\/span> A federal political action committee that makes expenditures for the purpose of influencing the outcome of any <span class=\"dictionary\">election<\/span> in Virginia, other than federal <span class=\"dictionary\">elections<\/span>, shall provide the following information in its statement of organization: <a id=\"paragraph-220223\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/24.2-949.2\/#C\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"C1\" class=\"indent-1\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">1.<\/span> The name and address of the committee; <a id=\"paragraph-220224\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/24.2-949.2\/#C1\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"C2\" class=\"indent-1\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">2.<\/span> The committee&#8217;s Federal <span class=\"dictionary\">Election<\/span> Commission registration identification number; and <a id=\"paragraph-220225\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/24.2-949.2\/#C2\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"C3\" class=\"indent-1\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">3.<\/span> The name and address of its treasurer.\n\t\t\t\tThe <span class=\"dictionary\">State Board<\/span> shall be required to provide a link from its Internet website to the federal political action committee&#8217;s electronically displayed Federal <span class=\"dictionary\">Election<\/span> Commission campaign finance disclosure reports. <a id=\"paragraph-220226\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/24.2-949.2\/#C3\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>","plain_text":"                                 CODE OF VIRGINIA\n\nSTATEMENT OF ORGANIZATION FOR A POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE (\u00a7 24.2-949.2)\n\nA. Except as provided in subsection B or C, each political action committee that\nanticipates receiving contributions or making expenditures in excess of $200 in\na calendar year shall file with the State Board a statement of organization\nwithin 10 days after its organization, or if later, within 10 days after the\ndate on which it has information that causes the committee to anticipate it will\nreceive contributions or make expenditures in excess of $200 or on which it\notherwise becomes subject to the provisions of this chapter. Any change in\ninformation previously submitted in a statement of organization shall be\nreported to the State Board within 10 days following the change.\n\t\t\tThe statement of organization shall include:\n\n   1. The name of the political action committee and its address in the\n   Commonwealth;\n\n   2. The names, addresses, and relationships of affiliated or connected\n   organizations;\n\n   3. The area, scope, or jurisdiction of the political action committee\n   accompanied by the statement that the primary purpose of the committee is to\n   advocate the election or defeat of a clearly identified candidate;\n\n   4. The name and business address of the treasurer and his residence address in\n   the Commonwealth who shall be deemed the agent of the political action\n   committee for the purpose of service of process on the political action\n   committee;\n\n   5. The name, residence address in the Commonwealth, business address, and\n   position of the custodian of the books and accounts, who works under the\n   direction of the treasurer, and the address in the Commonwealth where the\n   books are maintained;\n\n   6. The name, address, office sought, and party affiliation of each individual\n   whom the political action committee is supporting or opposing for nomination\n   or for election to any public office whatever or, if supporting the entire\n   ticket of any party, the name of the party;\n\n   7. The designated depository to be used for the receipt and holding of funds\n   and contributions received by the political action committee, in an account in\n   a financial institution within the Commonwealth; and\n\n   8. Such other information as shall be required by the State Board except that\n   the account number for the designated depository account shall not be\n   required.\n   \t\t\t\tThe State Board shall not register or issue a registration number to any\n   political action committee that fails to state pursuant to subdivision 3 that\n   its primary purpose is to influence the outcome of nonfederal elections in\n   Virginia.\n\nB. Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection A, a political action committee\nthat is established or controlled by a corporation doing business in Virginia\nshall provide the following information in its statement of organization in lieu\nof the information required in subdivisions 1, 4, 5, and 7 of subsection A:\n\n   1. The name and address of the political action committee;\n\n   2. The name and residence and business addresses of the treasurer;\n\n   3. The name, residence address, and position of the custodian of the books who\n   works under the direction of the treasurer; and\n\n   4. A listing of all banks, safe-deposit boxes, or other repositories used.\n\nC. A federal political action committee that makes expenditures for the purpose\nof influencing the outcome of any election in Virginia, other than federal\nelections, shall provide the following information in its statement of\norganization:\n\n   1. The name and address of the committee;\n\n   2. The committee&#8217;s Federal Election Commission registration\n   identification number; and\n\n   3.
