Any owner of such a dam or other artificial impediment who fails to provide or to maintain fishways providing substantially free passage for anadromous fish may be compelled to provide such fishways by injunction in an action initiated by the Department in an appropriate circuit court. This law was first created in 1989. Unfortunately, the 1989 \u201cActs\u201d aren\u2019t available online. It has been modified 1 time.
