This law was first created in 1989. If the Department<\/span> receives notification from the person<\/span> or any court<\/span> or law<\/span>-enforcement agency that a person<\/span>’s residential address has changed to a non-Virginia address, the Department<\/span> shall (i) mail, by first-class mail, no later than three days after the notice of address change is received by the Department<\/span>, notice to the person<\/span> that his commercial driver<\/span>’s license will be cancelled by the Department<\/span> and (ii) cancel<\/span> the commercial driver<\/span>’s license thirty days after notice of cancellation<\/span> has been mailed. <\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
