A.<\/span> The commercial driver<\/span>’s license issued by the Department<\/span> shall be identified as a Virginia commercial driver<\/span>’s license and shall include at least the following: <\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

1.<\/span> Full name, a Virginia address, and signature of the licensee; <\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

2.<\/span> A photograph of the licensee; <\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

3.<\/span> A physical description of the licensee, including sex and height; <\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

4.<\/span> The licensee’s date of birth and license number that shall be assigned by the Department<\/span> to the licensee and shall not be the same as the licensee’s Social Security number; <\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

5.<\/span> A designation of the class and type of commercial motor vehicle<\/span> or vehicles<\/span> which the licensee is authorized to drive, together with any restrictions<\/span>; and <\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

6.<\/span> The date of license issuance and expiration. <\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

B.<\/span> The commercial learner’s permit shall be identified as such but shall in all other respects conform to subsection A of this section. A commercial learner’s permit shall also contain a statement that the permit is invalid unless accompanied by the underlying driver<\/span>’s license. <\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
