This law was first created in 1973. The record of its establishment is cataloged in chapter 529 of that year\u2019s edition of \u201cActs of Assembly,\u201d the annual state publication listing all changes made to the Code of Virginia in that year. Any action by a physician assistant constituting unprofessional conduct\npursuant to § 54.1-2915;\n\n2. Practice by a physician assistant other than as part of a patient care team,\nincluding practice without entering into a practice agreement with one or more\npatient care team physicians or patient care team podiatrists, except as\nprovided in subsection E of § 54.1-2951.1;\n\n3. Failure of the physician assistant to practice in accordance with the\nrequirements of his practice agreement;\n\n4. Negligence or incompetence on the part of the physician assistant or other\nmember of the patient care team;\n\n5.
