<a id=\"paragraph-225534\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/55.1-1975\/#A6\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"A7\" class=\"indent-1\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">7.<\/span> Copies of any management agreements, employment <span class=\"dictionary\">contracts<\/span>, or other <span class=\"dictionary\">contracts<\/span> or agreements affecting the use, maintenance, or access of all or a part of the <span class=\"dictionary\">condominium<\/span>; <a id=\"paragraph-225535\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/55.1-1975\/#A7\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"A8\" class=\"indent-1\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">8.<\/span> A statement of the zoning and other governmental regulations affecting the use of the <span class=\"dictionary\">condominium<\/span>, including the site plans and building permits and their status, and also of any existing tax and existing or proposed special taxes or assessments that affect the <span class=\"dictionary\">condominium<\/span>; <a id=\"paragraph-225536\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/55.1-1975\/#A8\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"A9\" class=\"indent-1\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">9.<\/span> A narrative description of the promotional plan for the <span class=\"dictionary\">disposition<\/span> of the <span class=\"dictionary\">units<\/span> in the <span class=\"dictionary\">condominium<\/span>; <a id=\"paragraph-225537\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/55.1-1975\/#A9\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"A10\" class=\"indent-1\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">10.<\/span> Plats and plans of the <span class=\"dictionary\">condominium<\/span> that comply with the provisions of &#xA7; <a class=\"law\" title=\"Contents of plats and plans\" href=\"\/55.1-1920\/\">55.1-1920<\/a> other than the certification requirements, and that show all <span class=\"dictionary\">units<\/span> and buildings containing <span class=\"dictionary\">units<\/span> to be built anywhere within the submitted <span class=\"dictionary\">land<\/span> other than within the boundaries of any <span class=\"dictionary\">convertible lands<\/span>, except that the Common Interest Community Board may establish by regulation or <span class=\"dictionary\">order<\/span> requirements in lieu of the provisions of &#xA7; <a class=\"law\" title=\"Contents of plats and plans\" href=\"\/55.1-1920\/\">55.1-1920<\/a> for plats and plans of a <span class=\"dictionary\">condominium<\/span> located outside the Commonwealth; <a id=\"paragraph-225538\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/55.1-1975\/#A10\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"A11\" class=\"indent-1\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">11.<\/span> The proposed public offering statement; <a id=\"paragraph-225539\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/55.1-1975\/#A11\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"A12\" class=\"indent-1\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">12.<\/span> Any <span class=\"dictionary\">bonds<\/span> required to be posted pursuant to the provisions of this chapter; <a id=\"paragraph-225540\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/55.1-1975\/#A12\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"A13\" class=\"indent-1\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">13.<\/span> A current financial statement or other documentation to demonstrate the <span class=\"dictionary\">declarant<\/span>&#8217;s financial ability to complete all proposed improvements on the <span class=\"dictionary\">condominium<\/span>; and <a id=\"paragraph-225541\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/55.1-1975\/#A13\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"A14\" class=\"indent-1\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">14.<\/span> Any other information that the Common Interest Community Board&#8217;s regulations require for the protection of <span class=\"dictionary\">purchasers<\/span>. <a id=\"paragraph-225542\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/55.1-1975\/#A14\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"B\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">B.<\/span> If the <span class=\"dictionary\">declarant<\/span> registers additional <span class=\"dictionary\">units<\/span> to be offered for <span class=\"dictionary\">disposition<\/span> in the same <span class=\"dictionary\">condominium<\/span>, he may consolidate the subsequent registration with any earlier registration offering <span class=\"dictionary\">units<\/span> in the <span class=\"dictionary\">condominium<\/span> for <span class=\"dictionary\">disposition<\/span> under the same promotional plan. <a id=\"paragraph-225543\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/55.1-1975\/#B\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"C\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">C.<\/span> The <span class=\"dictionary\">declarant<\/span> shall immediately report any <span class=\"dictionary\">material<\/span> changes in the information contained in an application for registration. <a id=\"paragraph-225544\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/55.1-1975\/#C\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section id=\"D\"><p><span class=\"prefix-number\">D.<\/span> Each application shall be accompanied by a fee in an amount established by the Common Interest Community Board pursuant to &#xA7; <a class=\"law\" title=\"Regulatory boards to adjust fees; certain transfer of moneys collected on behalf of health regulatory boards prohibited\" href=\"\/54.1-113\/\">54.1-113<\/a>. All fees shall be remitted by the Common Interest Community Board to the State Treasurer and shall be credited to the Common Interest Community Management Information Fund established pursuant to &#xA7; <a class=\"law\" title=\"Common Interest Community Management Information Fund\" href=\"\/54.1-2354.2\/\">54.1-2354.2<\/a>. <a id=\"paragraph-225545\" class=\"section-permalink\" href=\"https:\/\/vacode.org\/55.1-1975\/#D\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><\/p><\/section>","plain_text":"                                 CODE OF VIRGINIA\n\nAPPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION; FEE (\u00a7 55.1-1975)\n\nA. The application for registration of the condominium shall be filed as\nprescribed by the Common Interest Community Board&#8217;s regulations and shall\ncontain the following documents and information:\n\n   1. An irrevocable appointment of the Common Interest Community Board to\n   receive service of any lawful process in any noncriminal proceeding arising\n   under this chapter against the applicant or his personal representative if\n   nonresidents of the Commonwealth;\n\n   2. The states or jurisdictions in which an application for registration or\n   similar document has been filed and any adverse order or judgment entered in\n   connection with the condominium by the regulatory authorities in each\n   jurisdiction or by any court;\n\n   3. The applicant&#8217;s name and address; the form, date, and jurisdiction of\n   organization; and the address of each of its offices in the Commonwealth;\n\n   4. The name, address, and principal occupation for the past five years of\n   every officer of the applicant or person occupying a similar status or\n   performing similar functions and the extent and nature of his interest in the\n   applicant or the condominium, as of a specified date within 30 days of the\n   filing of the application;\n\n   5. A statement, in a form acceptable to the Common Interest Community Board,\n   of the condition of the title to the condominium project, including\n   encumbrances, as of a specified date within 30 days of the date of application\n   by a title opinion of a licensed attorney not a salaried employee, officer, or\n   director of the applicant or owner, or by other evidence of title acceptable\n   to the Common Interest Community Board;\n\n   6. Copies of the instruments that will be delivered to a purchaser to evidence\n   his interest in the unit and of the contracts and other agreements that a\n   purchaser will be required to agree to or sign;\n\n   7. Copies of any management agreements, employment contracts, or other\n   contracts or agreements affecting the use, maintenance, or access of all or a\n   part of the condominium;\n\n   8. A statement of the zoning and other governmental regulations affecting the\n   use of the condominium, including the site plans and building permits and\n   their status, and also of any existing tax and existing or proposed special\n   taxes or assessments that affect the condominium;\n\n   9. A narrative description of the promotional plan for the disposition of the\n   units in the condominium;\n\n   10. Plats and plans of the condominium that comply with the provisions of\n   &#xA7; 55.1-1920 other than the certification requirements, and that show all\n   units and buildings containing units to be built anywhere within the submitted\n   land other than within the boundaries of any convertible lands, except that\n   the Common Interest Community Board may establish by regulation or order\n   requirements in lieu of the provisions of &#xA7; 55.1-1920 for plats and plans\n   of a condominium located outside the Commonwealth;\n\n   11. The proposed public offering statement;\n\n   12. Any bonds required to be posted pursuant to the provisions of this\n   chapter;\n\n   13. A current financial statement or other documentation to demonstrate the\n   declarant&#8217;s financial ability to complete all proposed improvements on\n   the condominium; and\n\n   14. Any other information that the Common Interest Community Board&#8217;s\n   regulations require for the protection of purchasers.\n\nB. If the declarant registers additional units to be offered for disposition in\nthe same condominium, he may consolidate the subsequent registration with any\nearlier registration offering units in the condominium for disposition under the\nsame promotional plan.\n\nC. The declarant shall immediately report any material changes in the\ninformation contained in an application for registration.\n\nD. Each application shall be accompanied by a fee in an amount established by\nthe Common Interest Community Board pursuant to &#xA7; 54.1-113.
