CODE OF VIRGINIA SENTENCE OF CONFINEMENT TO JAIL FARMS MAINTAINED BY THE CITIES OF DANVILLE, MARTINSVILLE AND NEWPORT NEWS (§ 19.2-309.1) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any person sentenced to a term of incarceration of up to two years by the courts of the Twenty-second Judicial Circuit may be confined, at the discretion of the court and subject to applicable regulations, at the farm established and maintained by the City of Danville pursuant to § 53.1-96; any person sentenced to such term by the Twenty-first Judicial Circuit may be so confined at the farm so established and maintained by the City of Martinsville; and any person sentenced to such term by the Seventh Judicial Circuit may be so confined at the farm so established and maintained by the City of Newport News.
