CODE OF VIRGINIA

(EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2026) RETALIATION AGAINST REPORTS OF CHILD OR ADULT ABUSE OR
NEGLECT (§ 32.1-162.15:1.16)

No Center may retaliate in any manner against any person who in good faith
reports adult or child abuse or neglect pursuant to Chapter 15 (§ 63.2-1501 et
seq.) or Article 2 (§ 63.2-1603 et seq.) of Chapter 16 of Title 63.2.
