						<section><p>The Department of Forestry is authorized to and responsible for (i) investigating insect <span class="dictionary">infestations</span> and disease <span class="dictionary">infections</span> which affect stands of <span class="dictionary">forest trees</span>, and (ii) devising and demonstrating control measures to interested <span class="dictionary">persons</span>. The State Forester shall administer the provisions of this article.
