						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">Department</span> shall have the authority to <span class="dictionary">contract</span> with other state and local governmental agencies having <span class="dictionary">law</span>-enforcement powers for services and personnel reasonably necessary to carry out the provisions of this article. In addition, all <span class="dictionary">law</span>-enforcement officers in the Commonwealth and those employees of the <span class="dictionary">Department</span> of Wildlife Resources vested with police powers shall enforce the provisions of this article and regulations adopted hereunder, and are hereby empowered to <span class="dictionary">arrest</span> without warrant, <span class="dictionary">persons</span> violating any provision of this article or any regulations adopted hereunder. The foregoing enforcement officers may serve and execute all warrants and other process issued by the <span class="dictionary">courts</span> in enforcing the provisions of this article and regulations adopted hereunder.</p></section></text><history>1987, c. 234, &#xA7; 10-277.4; 1988, c. 891; 2020, c. 958.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
