						<section><p>No person shall improperly dispose of litter, as defined in &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Definitions" href="/10.1-1414/">10.1-1414</a>, within a Virginia state park. In addition to any penalties that may be assessed under &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Powers of the Department" href="/10.1-104/">10.1-104</a> or &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Dumping trash; penalty" href="/33.2-802/">33.2-802</a>, any person in violation of this section may be assessed a civil <span class="dictionary">penalty</span> not to exceed $250. All civil penalties imposed under this section shall be deposited in the Conservation Resources Fund.</p></section></text><history>2001, c. 172.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
