						<section><p>An <span class="dictionary">appeal</span> from any fine or imprisonment shall be as in <span class="dictionary">misdemeanor</span> cases. Whenever any fine is imposed but not paid, the <span class="dictionary">court</span> trying the case shall proceed in accordance with Article 4 (&#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Authority of court to order payment of fine, costs, forfeitures, penalties or restitution in installments or upon other terms and conditions; community work in lieu of payment" href="/19.2-354/">19.2-354</a> et seq.) of Chapter 21 of Title 19.2.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 15-77.66; 1958, c. 328; 1962, c. 623, &#xA7; 15.1-903; 1973, c. 342; 1997, c. 587.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
