						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">penalty</span> of the <span class="dictionary">bond</span> of a sheriff shall be $30,000. The <span class="dictionary">bond</span> of the clerk of a <span class="dictionary">circuit</span> <span class="dictionary">court</span> shall not be less than $3,000 and the <span class="dictionary">bond</span> of such clerk shall bind him and his sureties, not only for the faithful discharge of his duties as clerk of the <span class="dictionary">court</span>, but also for the faithful discharge of such other duties as may be imposed upon him by <span class="dictionary">law</span> in like manner or by <span class="dictionary">order</span> of the <span class="dictionary">court</span> and with the same effect as if it were so expressed in the conditions of his <span class="dictionary">bond</span>.
