						<section><p>Any other provision of <span class="dictionary">law</span> to the contrary, notwithstanding, any conveyance made prior to January 1, 1954, by a <span class="dictionary">county</span>, of a portion of the <span class="dictionary">county</span> courthouse grounds, to a <span class="dictionary">town</span> to be used for public purposes, shall be in all respects valid.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 15-692.1; 1954, c. 150; 1962, c. 623, &#xA7; 15.1-263; 1997, c. 587.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
