						<section><p>Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection A of &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="State highway systems excepted; town streets" href="/15.2-2000/">15.2-2000</a>, every <span class="dictionary">locality</span> requiring curbs along its streets that incorporate accessible routes for pedestrian use, such as existing or proposed sidewalks, shall require that curb ramps be constructed at intersections for use by persons with mobility impairments. The ramps shall comply with the Virginia Department of Transportation&#x2019;s Road and Bridge Standards.
