						<section><p>A <span class="dictionary">cable operator</span> providing <span class="dictionary">cable service</span> may identify as a separate line item on each regular bill of each subscriber (i) the amount of the total bill assessed as a <span class="dictionary">franchise</span> fee, or any equivalent fee, and the <span class="dictionary">locality</span> to which such fee is paid; (ii) the amount of the total bill assessed to satisfy any requirements imposed on the <span class="dictionary">cable operator</span>, including those to support public, educational, or governmental access facilities, including institutional networks; and (iii) the amount of any other fee, tax, assessment, or charge of any kind imposed by any governmental entity on the transaction between the <span class="dictionary">cable operator</span> and the subscriber.</p></section></text><history>2006, cc. 73, 76.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
