						<section><p>No <span class="dictionary">locality</span>, without the consent of the franchisee, shall accelerate the term of, require the renegotiation of, or otherwise modify in any way, an agreement with any entity or a <span class="dictionary">franchise</span>, <span class="dictionary">ordinance</span>, permit, consent, or other authorization for such entity to use the public rights-of-way because such entity has been granted a cable <span class="dictionary">franchise</span> under this article to use the public rights-of-way for the development and operation of a <span class="dictionary">cable system</span>.</p></section></text><history>2006, cc. 73, 76.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
