						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">fact</span> that any person obtains a negotiated <span class="dictionary">franchise</span> or <span class="dictionary">ordinance</span> cable <span class="dictionary">franchise</span> to provide <span class="dictionary">cable services</span> under this article shall not create any <span class="dictionary">presumption</span> that such person is providing <span class="dictionary">cable services</span>, is controlling or responsible for the management and operation of a <span class="dictionary">cable system</span>, or is a <span class="dictionary">cable operator</span>, for purposes of federal <span class="dictionary">law</span>.</p></section></text><history>2006, cc. 73, 76.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
