						<section><p>When a subdivision <span class="dictionary">ordinance</span> has been adopted, or amended, a certified copy of the <span class="dictionary">ordinance</span> and any and all amendments thereto shall be filed in the office of an official of the <span class="dictionary">locality</span>, designated in the <span class="dictionary">ordinance</span>, and in the clerk&#x2019;s office of the <span class="dictionary">circuit</span> <span class="dictionary">court</span> for each <span class="dictionary">locality</span> in which the <span class="dictionary">ordinance</span> is applicable.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7;&#xA7; 15-783, 15-967.6; 1962, c. 407, &#xA7; 15.1-471; 1975, c. 641; 1997, c. 587.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
