						<section><p>Any <span class="dictionary">locality</span>, by majority vote of the <span class="dictionary">governing body</span>, may <span class="dictionary">amend</span> the boundaries of an established service district that lies wholly within that <span class="dictionary">locality</span>&#x2019;s boundaries. If more than one <span class="dictionary">locality</span> is involved in an established service district and those localities desire to <span class="dictionary">amend</span> that service district, a majority vote of the <span class="dictionary">governing body</span> of each <span class="dictionary">locality</span> affected by the amendment is required. Any <span class="dictionary">locality</span> or localities seeking to <span class="dictionary">amend</span> such service district boundaries shall follow the notice and public <span class="dictionary">hearing</span> requirements set out in &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Creation of service districts" href="/15.2-2400/">15.2-2400</a>.</p></section></text><history>2013, cc. 172, 524.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
