						<section id="A"><p><span class="prefix-number">A.</span> Any <span class="dictionary">county</span> may adopt an optional form of <span class="dictionary">county</span> government in accordance with the <span class="dictionary">referendum</span> provisions of &#xA7; <a class="law" title="Petition or resolution asking for referendum; notice; conduct of election" href="/15.2-301/">15.2-301</a>, subject to the limitations specified in Chapters 3 through 8 of this title. <a id="paragraph-297871" class="section-permalink" href="https://vacode.org/15.2-300/#A"><i class="fa fa-link"/></a></p></section>
