						<section><p>Unless and until changed by general <span class="dictionary">law</span>, the <span class="dictionary">jurisdiction</span> and authority of the <span class="dictionary">circuit</span> <span class="dictionary">courts</span> having <span class="dictionary">jurisdiction</span> within any area covered by the <span class="dictionary">consolidation</span> agreement shall remain as provided for in general <span class="dictionary">law</span> as if no <span class="dictionary">consolidation</span> had occurred.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 15-230; 1956, c. 554; 1958, c. 101; 1962, c. 623, &#xA7; 15.1-1144; 1997, c. 587.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
