						<section><p>Upon request of the special <span class="dictionary">court</span>, the Commission on <span class="dictionary">Local Government</span> shall conduct a <span class="dictionary">hearing</span> to determine whether the criteria in &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Proof required and order for incorporation" href="/15.2-3602/">15.2-3602</a> have been satisfied. The <span class="dictionary">hearing</span> shall be set no less than thirty days after receipt of the <span class="dictionary">petition</span> by the Commission. All interested parties may present <span class="dictionary">evidence</span> before the Commission, and any <span class="dictionary">county</span> in which is located the area proposed for incorporation shall be made parties to the Commission&#x2019;s <span class="dictionary">hearing</span>.</p></section></text><history>1979, c. 85, &#xA7; 15.1-966.1; 1980, c. 170; 1997, c. 587.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
