						<section><p>Any <span class="dictionary">locality</span> may by <span class="dictionary">ordinance</span> establish a system to deliver notifications to residents by email, phone, text message or other similar means of communication. Such <span class="dictionary">ordinance</span> shall be adopted only after a public <span class="dictionary">hearing</span> and shall contain an opt-in provision for non-emergency notifications.</p></section></text><history>2015, c. 192.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
