						<section><p>Any <span class="dictionary">locality</span> may acquire, except by condemnation, sites, landmarks, structures and records of historical interest and value to the Commonwealth and may restore and preserve them, or may convey them to a nonstock corporation chartered under Virginia <span class="dictionary">law</span> for the purposes of acquiring and preserving such places and things.
