						<section><p>Any <span class="dictionary">locality</span> may establish reasonable rules, regulations, and <span class="dictionary">schedules</span> for planting trees in and along areas dedicated for public use where trees have been destroyed in the construction process. This provision shall not affect the validity of any local <span class="dictionary">ordinance</span> adopted pursuant to any other provision of <span class="dictionary">law</span>.</p></section></text><history>1986, c. 183, &#xA7; 15.1-14.1; 1997, c. 587.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
