						<section><p>Any <span class="dictionary">locality</span> may by <span class="dictionary">ordinance</span> require that any or all of its agencies, departments, authorities, committees, instrumentalities, or political subdivisions participate in one or more unified or centralized systems for geographic information, mapping, surveying, or land information. The <span class="dictionary">ordinance</span> may establish such conditions as may be necessary to develop, maintain, and operate any such system for geographic information, mapping, surveying, or land information.</p></section></text><history>1992, c. 39, &#xA7; 15.1-11.7; 1997, c. 587.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
