						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">chief judge</span> may adopt and publish rules not in violation of <span class="dictionary">law</span> or in conflict with rules adopted pursuant to Chapter 4.1 (&#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Repealing clause" href="/16.1-69.1/">16.1-69.1</a> et seq.) of this title to regulate the conduct of the clerks and employees of <span class="dictionary">the court</span>, which rules shall be construed and enforced liberally in furtherance of the remedial purposes of this chapter.
