						<section><p>At any time while the papers in any case in which a <span class="dictionary">judgment</span> has been rendered by a general district <span class="dictionary">court</span> are retained by the <span class="dictionary">court</span>, the <span class="dictionary">judge</span> or clerk of the <span class="dictionary">court</span> shall certify and deliver an abstract of the <span class="dictionary">judgment</span> to any person interested therein. In the absence of any such <span class="dictionary">judge</span> or clerk, or in the event of a vacancy in the office of such <span class="dictionary">judge</span> or clerk, such abstract of <span class="dictionary">judgment</span> may be made and certified by the substitute <span class="dictionary">judge</span> or clerk, if there be one, or by any other <span class="dictionary">judge</span> of a general district <span class="dictionary">court</span> in such county or city.</p></section></text><history>1956, c. 555; 1983, c. 499.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
