						<section><p>All wills, inventories, appraisements, lists of sales and <span class="dictionary">settlements</span> of accounts of executors, administrators, curators, trustees or other fiduciaries shall be recorded in a book to be known as the will book. Provided, that the <span class="dictionary">judges</span> of the several <span class="dictionary">courts</span> of the Commonwealth before whom fiduciaries qualify may, by <span class="dictionary">order</span>, prescribe that inventories, appraisements, accounts of sale and <span class="dictionary">settlement</span> of accounts of fiduciaries, together with all reports and <span class="dictionary">decrees</span> or <span class="dictionary">orders</span>, or portions thereof, proper to be recorded therewith, shall be recorded either in the current will book or in a book to be kept by the clerk for that purpose. Such <span class="dictionary">courts</span> may prescribe that the <span class="dictionary">settlements</span> of accounts of fiduciaries be recorded in the mode prescribed by &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Recordation of report" href="/64.2-1214/">64.2-1214</a>.</p></section></text><history>Code 1919, &#xA7; 3393, &#xA7; 17-63; 1920, p. 313; 1932, p. 333; 1998, c. 872.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
