						<section><p>In addition to the <span class="dictionary">jurisdiction</span> conferred on the Supreme <span class="dictionary">Court</span> by Article VI, Section 1 and Section 10 of the Constitution of Virginia, to conduct <span class="dictionary">hearings</span> and impose <span class="dictionary">sanctions</span> upon the filing by the <span class="dictionary">Commission</span> of complaints against justices of the Supreme <span class="dictionary">Court</span>, <span class="dictionary">judges</span> of other <span class="dictionary">courts</span> of record, and members of the State Corporation <span class="dictionary">Commission</span>, the Supreme <span class="dictionary">Court</span> by virtue of this chapter shall have the same <span class="dictionary">jurisdiction</span>, to be exercised in the same manner, upon the filing by the <span class="dictionary">Commission</span> of complaints against all other <span class="dictionary">judges</span> as defined in this chapter.</p></section></text><history>1971, Ex.
