						<section><p>Any participating city or county may, at the beginning of any calendar quarter, by <span class="dictionary">ordinance</span> or resolution of its governing authority, notify the Department of Criminal Justice Services of its intention to withdraw from participation in <span class="dictionary">pretrial services</span>. Such withdrawal shall be effective as of the last day of the quarter in which such notice is given.</p></section></text><history>1994, 2nd Sp.
