						<section><p>Upon certification of any <span class="dictionary">felony</span> <span class="dictionary">offense</span> pursuant to this chapter, the <span class="dictionary">court</span> shall also certify any ancillary <span class="dictionary">misdemeanor</span> <span class="dictionary">offense</span> to the clerk of the <span class="dictionary">circuit</span> <span class="dictionary">court</span> provided that the attorney for the Commonwealth and the <span class="dictionary">accused</span> consent to such certification. Any <span class="dictionary">misdemeanor</span> <span class="dictionary">offense</span> certified pursuant to this section shall proceed in the same manner as a <span class="dictionary">misdemeanor</span> appealed to <span class="dictionary">circuit</span> <span class="dictionary">court</span> pursuant to &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="How appeal tried" href="/16.1-136/">16.1-136</a>.</p></section></text><history>2015, c. 548.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
