						<section><p>A person arrested without a warrant by any conservator of the peace or other <span class="dictionary">law</span>-enforcement officer for any of the acts set forth in &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Recognizance to keep the peace; when required" href="/19.2-19/">19.2-19</a> committed in the presence of such conservator of the peace or <span class="dictionary">law</span>-enforcement officer, shall be brought forthwith before a <span class="dictionary">magistrate</span> or <span class="dictionary">judge</span>, and proceedings shall be had in accordance with &#xA7;&#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Same; complaint and issuance of warrant therefor" href="/19.2-20/">19.2-20</a> and <a class="law" title="Same; procedure when accused appears" href="/19.2-21/">19.2-21</a>.</p></section></text><history>1975, c. 495.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
