						<section><p>The repeal of Title 39.1 effective as of January 1, 1974, shall not affect any act or <span class="dictionary">offense</span> done or committed or any <span class="dictionary">penalty</span> or forfeiture incurred, or any right established, accrued, or accruing on or before such date, or any <span class="dictionary">prosecution</span>, suit or action pending on that day.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 19.1-375; 1973, c. 545; 1975, c. 495.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
