						<section><p>The denial of a <span class="dictionary">writ</span> of error by a <span class="dictionary">judge</span> or justice of an <span class="dictionary">appellate</span> <span class="dictionary">court</span>, in the vacation of that <span class="dictionary">court</span>, shall not prevent the allowance of the <span class="dictionary">writ</span> by the <span class="dictionary">Court</span>, if by it deemed proper, on presentation of the <span class="dictionary">petition</span> to that <span class="dictionary">Court</span> at its next term.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 19.1-287; 1960, c. 366; 1975, c. 495; 1976, c. 615; 1984, c. 703.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
