						<section><p>All funds paid to and collected by or on behalf of a <span class="dictionary">magistrate</span> shall be paid promptly to the appropriate district <span class="dictionary">court</span> clerk, <span class="dictionary">circuit</span> <span class="dictionary">court</span> clerk, <span class="dictionary">commissioner in chancery</span>, department of the Commonwealth, federal agency or as otherwise authorized by <span class="dictionary">statute</span>.</p></section></text><history>1973, c. 545, &#xA7; 14.1-44.4; 1980, c. 356; 1987, c. 22; 1998, c. 872.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
