						<section><p>Such warrant shall authorize the officer or other person to whom it is directed to <span class="dictionary">arrest</span> the <span class="dictionary">accused</span> at any time and at any place where he may be found within the Commonwealth and to command the aid of all <span class="dictionary">peace officers</span> or other persons in the execution of the warrant and to deliver the <span class="dictionary">accused</span>, subject to the provisions of this chapter, to the duly authorized agent of the demanding state.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 19.1-57; 1960, c. 366; 1975, c. 495.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
