						<section id="A"><p><span class="prefix-number">A.</span> There is hereby created the Virginia Information Technologies <span class="dictionary">Agency</span> (VITA), which shall serve as the <span class="dictionary">agency</span> responsible for administration and enforcement of the provisions of this Chapter. <a id="paragraph-264068" class="section-permalink" href="https://vacode.org/2.2-2005/#A"><i class="fa fa-link"/></a></p></section>
						<section id="B"><p><span class="prefix-number">B.</span> The Governor shall appoint a Chief Information Officer of the Commonwealth (the CIO) to oversee the operation of VITA.
