						<section id="A"><p><span class="prefix-number">A.</span> There is hereby created in the executive branch the <span class="dictionary">Department</span> of Workforce Development and Advancement. The <span class="dictionary">Department</span> shall be headed by the <span class="dictionary">Commissioner</span> of the <span class="dictionary">Department</span> of Workforce Development and Advancement who shall be appointed by the Governor, subject to confirmation by the General Assembly, to serve at the pleasure of the Governor. <a id="paragraph-232460" class="section-permalink" href="https://vacode.org/2.2-2035/#A"><i class="fa fa-link"/></a></p></section>
