						<section><p>Neither the Governor nor his chief of staff, <span class="dictionary">counsel</span>, director of policy, or Cabinet Secretaries shall interfere with or exert undue influence upon any investigation by the <span class="dictionary">Office</span> of the State Inspector General of <span class="dictionary">fraud</span>, waste, abuse, or corruption by a <span class="dictionary">state agency</span> or <span class="dictionary">nonstate agency</span> or by any <span class="dictionary">officer</span> or <span class="dictionary">employee</span> of a <span class="dictionary">state agency</span> or <span class="dictionary">nonstate agency</span>.</p></section></text><history>2022, c. 600.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
