						<section><p>The governing body of any county, city, or town may adopt an <span class="dictionary">ordinance</span> setting a monetary limit on the acceptance of any <span class="dictionary">gift</span> by the <span class="dictionary">officers</span>, appointees or <span class="dictionary">employees</span> of the county, city or town and requiring the disclosure by such <span class="dictionary">officers</span>, appointees or <span class="dictionary">employees</span> of the receipt of any <span class="dictionary">gift</span>.</p></section></text><history>2003, c. 694.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
