						<section><p>The <span class="dictionary">Attorney General</span> may expend for the contingent expenses of his office the sums appropriated for his office by the General Assembly. The <span class="dictionary">Attorney General</span>, the deputy and assistant Attorneys General, and other employees of the office shall be reimbursed for actual travel expenses in the performance of their duties in accordance with &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Traveling expenses on state business; public or private transportation" href="/2.2-2823/">2.2-2823</a>.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 2-97; 1966, c. 677, &#xA7; 2.1-133; 2001, c. 844.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
