						<section><p>In any case where willful desertion or cruelty is the ground for divorce and the <span class="dictionary">bill of complaint</span> prays for a divorce from bed and board the <span class="dictionary">court</span> may enter a <span class="dictionary">decree</span> of divorce from the <span class="dictionary">bonds</span> of matrimony without the entry of a <span class="dictionary">decree</span> from bed and board if the statutory period, as set out in &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Merger of decree for divorce from bed and board with decree for divorce from bond of matrimony" href="/20-121/">20-121</a>, has elapsed prior to the entry of said <span class="dictionary">decree</span> and if the <span class="dictionary">court</span> shall be of the <span class="dictionary">opinion</span> that no reconciliation has taken place, or is probable.</p></section></text><history>1956, c. 93; 1970, c. 538; 1975, c. 644.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
