						<section id="A"><p><span class="prefix-number">A.</span> Each local <span class="dictionary">school board</span> shall develop a plan, in accordance with the guidelines and model curriculum developed by the <span class="dictionary">Department</span> of Health in collaboration with the <span class="dictionary">Department</span> of Education, in accordance with the protocols developed by the Board of Pharmacy in consultation with the Board of Medicine and the <span class="dictionary">Department</span> of Health, for providing at each public secondary school that includes grades nine through 12 a program of instruction on opioid overdose prevention and reversal. Such program of instruction shall include instruction in identifying the signs of a possible opioid overdose and training in the administration of an opioid antagonist for the reversal of a potentially life-threatening opioid overdose. <a id="paragraph-225151" class="section-permalink" href="https://vacode.org/22.1-206.01/#A"><i class="fa fa-link"/></a></p></section>
						<section id="B"><p><span class="prefix-number">B.</span> Each public secondary school that includes grades nine through 12 shall provide an opioid overdose prevention and reversal program of instruction at such grade level as the local <span class="dictionary">school board</span> deems appropriate.
