						<section><p>Any person who makes a false statement concerning the age of a child between the ages set forth in &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Compulsory attendance required; excuses and waivers; alternative education program attendance; exemptions from article" href="/22.1-254/">22.1-254</a> for the purpose of evading the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a Class 4 <span class="dictionary">misdemeanor</span>.</p></section></text><history>Code 1950, &#xA7; 22-275.18; 1959, Ex.
