						<section><p>Whenever a child of a service member <span class="dictionary">parent</span> who enrolls in a school division pursuant to subdivision B 3 of &#xA7;&#xA0;<a class="law" title="Persons to whom public schools shall be free" href="/22.1-3/">22.1-3</a> is also a child with disabilities, the <span class="dictionary">school board</span> that governs the school division shall, upon receiving the documentation from the service member <span class="dictionary">parent</span> or an official letter from the service member <span class="dictionary">parent</span>&#x2019;s command indicating such service member <span class="dictionary">parent</span>&#x2019;s relocation to such school division, coordinate with the service member <span class="dictionary">parent</span> and such child&#x2019;s previous school division to facilitate the prompt provision of comparable special education services and accommodations based on such child&#x2019;s current Individualized Education Program or &#xA7;&#xA0;504 Plan.</p></section></text><history>2025, c. 388.</history><metadata></metadata></law>
